StJPII Volunteer Approval/CMGConnect

To become StJPII Volunteer Approved for the first time:

1. Take CMGConnect Safe Haven Training according to Archdiocesan policy and provide StJPII with your certificate of completion. Follow the CMGConnect registration instructions to sign in and register for classes via CMGConnect.org.

   • Choose category number 4 titled Private Catholic School Employee/Volunteer.

2. Complete the StJPII Volunteer Packet (click here to download). It includes the following forms to complete:
   • Am I Volunteer Approved? Checklist
   • Background Check Consent Form
   • The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston Volunteer Code of Conduct 
3. Volunteers must have their driver's license scanned at our front desk through the Raptor System every time you volunteer on campus for the safety of our student's.

If your last training was CMG Safe Haven Training and you are due for a 5 year renewal training:

1. Take CMGConnect Protecting Vulnerable Adults Training according to Archdiocesan policy and provide StJPII with your certificate of completion. Follow the CMGConnect registration instructions to sign in and register for classes.

2. Complete the StJPII Volunteer Packet (click here to download). It includes the following forms to complete:
   • Am I Volunteer Approved? Checklist
   • Background Check Consent Form
   • The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston Volunteer Code of Conduct 
3. Volunteers must have their driver's license scanned at our front desk through the Raptor System every time you volunteer on campus for the safety of our student's.
