*Please have your PHYSICAL (dated after May 1st each year) on file prior to attending tryouts.
*Please remember that making a team in Middle School sports is a major commitment, you are required to attend all practices and games throughout the season.

Our Middle School athletic program is governed by GHCAA - Greater Houston Catholic Athletic Association.
All students in 6th - 8th are eligible to tryout and participate in Cheer, Soccer, Volleyball, Girls' Basketball, Boy's Basketball, Softball, Baseball, Girl's and Boy's Lacrosse. Football, Cross Country, and Track & Field are non-tryout sports, and are open to (5th for XC and T&F) 6th-8th grade students. An athletic fee of $220 is charged for each sport with the exception of Cheer which is $425 as it is a full year round commitment.
Athletic fees and the Parent/Player contract are due at the time the student makes the team. Participation in a middle school sport is a serious commitment by the student to attend all practices and games, and by the parent to help with transportation to and from games. Middle School practices are held here on campus, games are both home and away. It is primarily a Monday through Thursday commitment, and practices are held right after school starting right after 3:30 dismissal and will vary depending on the sport as to what time it will end.
Academic and behavior eligibility must be maintained for participation on the team. Any student with a grade below 70 will be placed on probation from the activity. Students may also be placed on probation for on-going or serious behavior issues. As long as a student is not failing any classes (below 70), they may participate in practices. PLEASE NOTE – Once on probation, grades and/or conduct will be checked at the midpoint of reports (approximately two weeks).
