Primary School (PK-K)

Our teachers are masters of the craft whose hearts and souls are dedicated to the sacrifice of Christ-like teaching. We believe that a great classroom is one where the students are effectively engaged; whether that be in discussion, independent study, group exploration, or a teacher’s instruction.

Students in Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten make up our Primary School. These years are designed to guide children through the social and emotional adjustment for a formal school program. The core curriculum includes academic instruction in Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies through readiness activities. The readiness activities are presented in a context that is developmentally appropriate and relatable to students’ interests. Additionally, Religion class is a vital part of the daily curriculum for all ages. Our Primary School students attend Spanish classes twice a week, and also enjoy music and physical activity through a class called Music, Movement, & Me. They are welcome to participate in a variety of after school activities.

Our Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs offer young St. John Paul II students the opportunity to develop, in a loving and spiritually nurturing environment, the skills necessary to achieve scholastically. Teachers delicately balance instruction for each student’s mind, body, and spirit.
