Academics
The Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs at St. John Paul II are designed to help children make the social and emotional adjustment to a formal school program. The core curriculum provides academic instruction in language arts, math, science and social studies through readiness activities in a context appropriate to the children's developmental level and interests. In addition, spiritual and religious instruction is an integral part of the daily curriculum for all ages. The Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs offer young St. John Paul II students the opportunity to develop, in a loving and spiritually nurturing environment, the skills necessary to achieve scholastically. Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students also enjoy music and physical activity through a class called Music, Movement & Me and attend Spanish classes twice a week. They are also able to participate in a variety of after school activities.
