Uniform Information

Students at John Paul II Catholic School are required to wear a uniform. Students are expected to be neat, clean, well-groomed and wearing school uniforms at all times.*  Details are listed below.

Optional Casual Uniform - Order Form (for Optional Casual Uniform Items, please scroll to the bottom of the page).  Optional casual uniform pieces may be pre-ordered for pick up at the Meet and Greet Event in August and in November for delivery in January.

 
All official full dress uniforms are to be purchased at MillsWear or online at the MillsWear website.

Official Full Dress Uniform Requirements
 
Girls: PreK: 5th

  1. Plain white Peter Pan collar blouse (short or long sleeves) with JP II embroidered on collar
  2. Short burgundy tie 
  3. PreK-3rd:  Plaid jumper with patch - knee length
  4. 4th and 5th grade:  Plaid skirt - knee length
  5. White socks
  6. White or navy tights are allowed (no leggings)
  7. Burgundy sweaters or vests are the only acceptable outer wear allowed on full dress uniform days. NO other sweaters, sweatshirts, or jackets may be worn inside on dress uniform days.
  8. If a sweater or jacket is needed in the classroom or outside for recess or PE on full dress or casual dress days, the first layer must be an appropriate JPII sweater or sweatshirt.
  9. The official JPII Spirit T-shirt is required for field trips.  This t-shirt may be purchased on the Optional Casual Uniform Order Form.  (Athletic, PTO, FITS, Gala Shirts, etc. are not the official JPII spirit t-shirt.  These shirts may be worn on casual spirit days during the year).
Girls: 6th- 8th
  1. Plain white notched collar blouse (short or long sleeves) with JP II embroidered on collar
  2. Long plaid tie
  3. Navy blue skirt - knee length
  4. White socks
  5. White or navy tights are allowed (no leggings)
  6. Burgundy sweaters or vests are the only acceptable outer wear allowed on full dress uniform days. NO other sweaters, sweatshirts, or jackets may be worn inside on dress uniform days.

  3. Navy Tie
  4. White, black, or navy socks

  1. Blue and white striped shirt (short or long sleeves) with patch on pocket
  2. Navy blue slacks

  8. Black belt 
Shoes
  1. Acceptable shoe colors are SOLID black, SOLID white, or SOLID navy.
  2. Shoestrings and soles of shoes must be the same color as shoe or may be white.
  3. Normal flat heels only (not higher than one (1) inch).
  4. No backless or open toed shoes.
  5. 8th graders ONLY may wear boat or deck type shoes that are school colors.  The top of the shoe must cover the majority of the top of the foot, so that the shoe does not slip off easily when walking. 
Optional Casual Uniforms

Optional Casual Uniform items can be purchased through the school office in August for September delivery, November for January delivery, and in May for August delivery.

Knit Shirts, Spirit T-Shirts, Jackets, and Sweatshirts
JPII polo shirts, spirit t-shirts, sweatshirts, and school jackets are available for purchase through the school. Polo shirts and sweatshirts can be worn to school unless it is Mass day or Full  Dress Uniform Day. Spirit t-shirts (SAINTS t-shirts, JPII athletic t-shirts, birthday t-shirts, & miscellaneous JPII sponsored shirts) can be worn most Wednesdays. The official JPII Spirit T-shirt is required for field trips.  This t-shirt may be purchased on the Optional Casual Uniform Order Form.  (Athletic, PTO, FITS, Gala Shirts, etc. are not the official JPII spirit t-shirt.  These shirts may be worn on casual spirit days during the year). Spirit t-shirts must be tucked in. Uniform shirts and blouses must always be worn under the sweatshirt. Sweatshirts, jackets, etc. are not to be tied around a student’s waist. Students may wear nice blue jeans with their spirit t-shirts - usually once a month on early dismissal day. Check the school calendar for the exact date each month.
 
Free Dress Day Clothing, Casual Picture Day, Nails & Tails Day, Etc. - Please refer to the Parent//Student Handbook for the various dress code rules on these days.
 
*Parents will be contacted and asked to bring other clothes when students are in violation of the dress code.
