Uniform Information

Students at John Paul II Catholic School are required to wear a uniform.  Students are expected to be neat, clean, well-groomed and wearing school uniforms at all times.  The uniform dress code is strictly enforced.  It is expected that students will observe rules at all times.  Details are listed below.

Full Dress Requirements
Girls - PreK - 5th

  1. Plain white blouse with (short or long sleeves) with JP II embroidered on collar
  2. Short burgundy tie 
  3. Plaid jumper with patch (PreK-3rd) - knee length
  4. 4th and 5th grade: Plaid skirt - knee length
  5. White socks
  6. White or navy tights are allowed 
  7. Burgundy sweaters or vests are the only acceptable outer wear allowed on full dress uniform days (NO other sweaters, sweatshirts, or jackets may be worn inside on dress uniform days) 

Girls - 6th- 8th

1.      Plain white blouse with (short or long sleeves) with JP II embroidered on collar
2.      Long burgundy tie
3.      Navy blue skirt - knee length
4.      White socks
5.      White or navy tights are allowed
6.      Burgundy sweaters or vests are the only acceptable outer wear allowed on full dress 
         uniform days (NO other sweaters, sweatshirts, or jackets may be worn inside on full   
         dress days)

Boys - PreK - 5th

1.      Plaid shirt (short or long sleeves) with patch on pocket per diagram
2.      Navy blue slacks
3.      White, black, or navy socks worn
4.      Burgundy sweaters or vests are the only acceptable outer wear allowed on full dress    
         uniform days (NO other sweaters, sweatshirts, or jackets may be worn inside on full  
         dress days)
5.      Black belt with looped pants

Boys - 6th - 8th

1.      Blue and white striped shirt (short or long sleeves) with JP II embroidered on it and patch 
         on pocket
2.      Navy blue slacks 
3.      White, black, or navy socks worn
4.      Burgundy sweater or vest (no other sweaters, sweatshirts, or jackets may be worn on full 
         dress days)
5.      Black belt 

Shoes

1.    Acceptable shoe colors are SOLID black, white, or navy. Shoestrings must be the same 
        color as shoe.
2.     Normal flat heels only (not higher than one (1) inch).  
3.     No backless or open toed shoes.

Knit Shirts, Spirit T-Shirts, Jackets, and Sweatshirts

Polo shirts, spirit t-shirts, sweatshirts, and school jackets are available for purchase through the school.  Knit shirts and sweatshirts can be worn to school unless it is Mass day or Dress Uniform Day.  Spirit t-shirts (SAINTS t-shirts, JPII sports t-shirts, birthday t-shirts, & miscellaneous JPII sponsored shirts) can be worn every Wednesday and on field trips (per teacher's discretion).  Spirit t-shirts must be tucked in.  Uniform shirts and blouses must be worn under the sweatshirt.  Sweatshirts, jackets, etc. are not to be tied around a student’s waist.  Students may wear nice blue jeans with their spirit t-shirts - usually once a month on the last Wednesday. Check the school calendar for the exact date each month.
